Recently we decided to redesign our blog to make it easier for our readers to look through the posts. The things that a user will be interested in a blog are the title of the post, when it was written and the post itself, so we’ve made it a bit clearer on that front aesthetically.
Not only have we made it look nicer, we’ve also made it easier to find posts that might interest you with new sections down the left for categories, authors and top posts.
- So if you’re interested in things related to web design, there’s a link for that under the category section.
- Like what you have read by one of our staff? Click on their name and you’ll see all the posts they’ve ever done.
- Not sure what to look for? We’ve picked out a few of our top posts for you to glance at.
We’ve added options to make it easy for you to share the article, simply click the drop down arrow at the top of the post to see of websites we’ve enabled for sharing. All your favourites should be there, just select from your social network of choice; Delicious, Digg, Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon or Twitter.
Another thing we wanted to really push was comments. We’ve enabled one of the most popular commenting systems on the internet, DisQus. This has social integration so you can easily add a comment without having to fill in all your details each time. It also allows you to keep track of comments you’ve posted and find out when someone has posted a reply to your comment. All in all, we think it will provide a solid platform to get a discussion going.
There are a few other tweaks in there to make your reading experience more enjoyable and hopefully a lot easier. Let us know what you think below!
