HD (High Definition) film and media
Everything we do is HD, even if the end result is downgraded to SD (standard definition). The reason for this is that it's much better to edit and polish something in HD, where you can see much more detail, and then downgrade it. Plus, because all of our equipment is current professional specification, everything shoots in HD anyway.
We use the latest SONY DV professional HD filming equipment and the increasingly popular DSLR cameras. DSLR is a digital variation of a standard SLR (single lens reflex) camera, which allows HD movie capture in a very pure form. Furthermore because these devices capture film to a memory chip, rather than a tape, they are incredibly small and lightweight which facilitates artistic shots - think of a flamboyant photographer crossed with a cameraman - and the additon of a whole range of lenses from telephoto lenses to fish-eye lenses enable us to capture all of the action.
Production and post-production
As well as shooting and capturing the video, we also edit, and produce the video in-house on our state-of-the-art Intel I5 media PCs capable of many times more calculations per second than a standard PC, which is just what you need for editing HD film sequences quickly and efficiently.
Script writing and storyboarding
When it comes to getting your message across, our creative bods can help you deliver an effective video that holds the viewer's attention, whilst delivering your message. A good script and storyboard help to get the timing and content set down before any filming commences - this way you can make as many changes you are required to get it right first time.
Editing and colour treatment
Our team can tweak and polish the final video captures to make a grizzly, grey British day look bright and sunny. They can enhance the colours in the shots to liven-up the most dreary footage, adding that polish and sparkle which provides the aspirational qualities you are looking for.
When it comes to editing, our high-end media workstations allow our team to slice and splice your snippets into a completely timed production with audio.
Special effects can be added using professional media software to enhance your production with very subtle, yet effective enhancements that make your video glisten and stand out from the crowd.
Video for your website
Our technical expertise allows you to upload your own videos using our content management system, and host them on your own website.
