At 16 Interactive, we design and build a lot of websites. The most impressive ones tend to be covered by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), so we're not allowed to show those to you or even mention them!

Our website designs often use all kinds of clever trickery such as CSS3 and HTML5 to make them easy to edit, and to look beautiful in all web browsers.

This entirely bespoke system (artwork provided by Sarah at Hatch Designs) was built, optimised, and designed to be SEO friendly and convert traffic. Although just launched, it's proved highly popular already! This client knew exactly what they wanted: A search engine optimised website with all the visual impact of a flash website, and without any of the drawbacks, which was designed to convert traffic, and optimised to work on mobile devices of all types. This is what we delivered.

Blue Parrot needed a distinctive logo design, in accordance with their brand guidelines. The logo was the starting point for the design of the website and from there we worked the colour pallette into the overall design. By adding further colour, we provided a design that grabs the users attention, and holds it.

Stage Experience needed a way to advertise their upcoming musical shows. We incorporated flash adverts into the home page, as well as an image slider showcasing their events. They like to use social media, so we integrated some custom social icons and a twitter feed.

Abigail wanted a simple, clean design with subtle uses of colour. What we came up with is a site that lets the content do the talking, with good use of white space. A good choice of typography enhances the messaging from the site, while news and press modules allow new items to be added quickly and easily. Finally a hand-drawn flash animation, implemented without any drawbacks to usability or SEO, was all that was needed to finish it of.
