Digital agency 16i, were delighted to sponsor Cultural Venue of the Year at the fifth annual SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards (SGGLA), and the results are in!

The evening of celebrations, hosted in the taproom at DEYA Brewing Company in Cheltenham, was a fantastic opportunity to honour the achievements of remarkable individuals and organisations who had successfully reached the final leg of the awards.

Finalists, sponsors, and guests were treated to delicious Hungarian street food and craft beer at a superb event on Wednesday 29 June 2022 where SGGLA winners, chosen by SoGlos readers, were revealed live on stage by BBC Points West reporter Steve Knibbs.

16i were delighted to take part in the event by sponsoring the Cultural Venue of the Year category, open to nominations from visitor attractions, gardens, and museums throughout Gloucestershire.

Winner - Sudeley Castle & Gardens
Highly commended - Gloucester Cathedral

The winner of the coveted top spot for SGGLA Cultural Venue of the Year in 2022 was Sudeley Castle and Gardens. The historic Grade 1 listed castle, set within a 1,200-acre estate nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, has played an important part in England’s history for over 1000 years. Kim Gibbon, visitor services manager at the popular visitor attraction, was thrilled to accept the coveted trophy.
