Wireframes consist of simple, single-colour outlines and blocks, which help us to scope out the bare bones of the website functionality and content priority, even before any design elements have been applied. This allows us to focus and refine the user experience – ensuring solid website foundations from the outset.
As part of the wireframe process we would start to piece together the information architecture, before creating scaled-back mock-ups of each of the core pages. These will be collated and presented for review. Once approved the wireframes will not only form the basis of the follow-on visuals, but will also give you a feel for the amount of copy and image sizes which are likely to be required, allowing you to start pulling everything together ready for the build stage.
