The Challenge
Early Years Direct approached 16i with the requirement for a full redesign and build of their ecommerce website in order to raise the profile of the brand, drive traffic, and ultimately increase sales.
Approach

16i worked closely with the team to ensure the designs were responsive, clean, and user-friendly in order to both encourage and streamline the purchase process.

The supporting content management system (CMS) means that Early Years Direct are able to not only manage content, but also create and assign voucher codes, access customer information, and manage orders all from one central place.

Key features / customisations

Subsequent functionality includes the ability for Early Years Direct to create Multi-buy discount options (allowing 3 for 2 discounts to be applied across multiple products), alongside the development of a custom account area for customers with specific checkout and proforma invoice options. 

Impact

The new site offers a range of customer-focused features including related items, guest checkout, and wishlist functionality; with Early Years Direct noting a marked increase in both page views and time spent on the site since launch.
