Websites for wedding venues and country estates
Your venue sells itself the moment people walk through the gates. Your website should do the same thing online — and turn that first flutter of "this is the one" into a booked viewing.
The digital agency behind one of the UK's most-loved wedding venues
Couples don't choose a venue from a spec sheet. They fall for a feeling — golden light on old stone, a walled garden, a ballroom that promises the best night of their lives. The venues that win are the ones whose websites capture that feeling in the first five seconds, then make it effortless to take the next step.
We're 16i, a B Corp-certified digital agency based in Cheltenham, on the doorstep of the Cotswolds. We work with venues and estates like Elmore Court — the Gloucestershire estate known for its award-winning weddings, sustainable ethos and treehouse escapes — to build websites that do justice to extraordinary places and quietly work hard behind the scenes: more enquiries, more viewings booked, more of the right couples.
What a venue website has to get right
Photography-first design that earns the price tag
Exclusive-use venues are bought with the heart. We design around your imagery — full-bleed, fast-loading, gorgeous on the phone a bride-to-be is scrolling at 11pm — so the site feels like the venue, not a brochure about it.
Built to book viewings, not just look pretty
A venue website has one funnel that matters: discover → fall in love → enquire → book a viewing. We design every page around that journey — availability prompts, open-day sign-ups, brochure downloads that capture details, and enquiry forms couples actually finish.
Found by the couples (and planners) searching for you
From "Cotswolds wedding venue" to "exclusive-use country house near Cheltenham", we handle the technical SEO, local search and content strategy that puts you in front of couples, planners and corporate bookers at the moment they're looking.
One website, every side of the estate
Modern estates are more than weddings: unique stays, glamping and treehouses, corporate away-days, festivals, private events, farm shops. We build sites that let each strand shine — with the structure, booking journeys and content management to run them all from one place.
A partner, not a project
Estates evolve. New accommodation, new licences, new seasons. We stay alongside you after launch — hosting, support, performance, and a roadmap for what's next — the same way we work with clients we've kept for over a decade.
Values that match yours
We're one of the UK's few B Corp-certified digital agencies. If your estate leads with sustainability, rewilding or regenerative land use, your digital partner shouldn't undermine the story — from low-carbon hosting choices to how we run our own business.
Elmore Court & The Treehouses
Elmore Court is a 16th-century Gloucestershire estate that has become one of the most sought-after exclusive-use wedding venues in the country — famous for the Gillyflower, its off-grid party barn, and more recently for luxurious treehouse stays in rewilded parkland.
We work with the Elmore team on their digital presence across both the wedding venue and The Treehouses
I wanted to work with somebody local, someone I could sit across the table and thrash out what was needed. 16i were recommended to me and It's been a great experience, problems have been solved, challenges overcome and solutions delivered all within budgets that weren't crazy.

How we work
1. Understand the estate
We start with your business, not your website: booking patterns, seasonality, who enquires and who converts, and where the estate is heading over the next five years.
2. Design around the feeling
Brand, art direction and page design that capture what it's like to stand in your grounds — reviewed with you at every stage.
3. Build it properly
Fast, accessible, easy-to-edit websites on a CMS your team will actually enjoy using, with booking journeys and integrations that fit your systems (enquiry management, availability, gift vouchers, ticketing).
4. Launch and grow
SEO, content and ongoing support to keep enquiries climbing season after season.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a wedding venue website cost?
It depends on scope — a focused venue site is a different project from a full estate platform with stays, events and e-commerce. Most of our venue projects fall between £X and £X. We'll always give you a clear, fixed proposal after an initial chat.
We're not just a wedding venue — can one site cover everything the estate does?
Yes — and it usually should. A well-structured site lets weddings, stays and events each have their own dedicated journey while sharing one brand, one CMS and one SEO footprint. We'll advise honestly if a separate site (as with Elmore's Treehouses) makes more sense.
Can you improve our enquiries without a full rebuild?
Often, yes. We can audit your existing site — speed, SEO, enquiry journey, analytics — and identify quick wins before you commit to anything bigger. Several clients started with an audit.
Do you handle photography and content?
We design around great imagery and can recommend photographers we trust for venues. Copywriting, tone of voice and content strategy are all in-house.
Which platforms do you build on?
We recommend the right tool for the job. For content-rich venue and estate sites we typically build on a modern, editor-friendly CMS with flexible page building — and we can integrate with the booking, enquiry and ticketing systems you already use.
Where are you based?
Cheltenham, Gloucestershire — in the Cotswolds, surrounded by many of the venues we'd love to work with. We're always happy to visit; understanding a venue means standing in it.
Tell us about your venue
We'd love to see it. Book a no-obligation chat — at your place or ours — and we'll share an honest view of what your website could be doing for you.
